ARTECHE PQ capacitors improve power factor, reduce circuit conductor and transformer losses, and can eliminate power factor charges on your electric bills. By reducing the reactive power demand, they can make additional capacity available from existing transformers.
APPLICATION-Fixed (non-automatic) Capacitor Banks are typically used to improve the power factor of individual inductive loads (motors) or a group of loads that has a relatively constant demand for reactive power (kVAR). Maximum benefit is achieved when installed as close as possible to the load. If non linear loads are present a harmonic analysis is strongly advised to eliminate the possibility of harmonic resonance.
