Ashcroft® K1 transducer/transmitter is suitable for industrial applications. It is suitable for a range of industrial applications such as construction equipment, machine tool, HVAC, refrigeration, pump control, medical, hydraulic, test/measurement, and several others. These have a pressure range of Vac-20,000 psi.
K1 provides accuracy of 0.5% and 1.0%. It has a NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure. The devices provide enhanced durability, stability and consistency. These transmitters are available in numerous standard pressure ranges with the option of either current or voltage output signals. Also available are a broad variety of electrical connections.
K1 is a widely-accepted and flexible pressure transducer/transmitter using the polysilicon thin film technology.
For deposition of chemical vapor, latest low-pressure methods are employed. These result in simpler, consistent molecular bonds among the widely-used metal diaphragm and a strain gage bridge made of polysilicon. Shock, vibration or mounting have no effect whatsoever on the built-in metal diaphragm and polysilicon bridge.
The devices eliminate signal instability or drift thanks to the absence of epoxies or bonding agents.
The performance of the transmitter can be directly traced to NIST and specifications are stated conservatively. Also available as an option is a FM approved version.
