Electric and hybrid traction test bench
Assing
Assing S.p.A. can fully design and realise complete test laboratories for electric and hybrid traction systems, which generally may include different sections. Each of these sections can carry out the testing, acceptance and characterization of each of the sub-unit that are part of the traction system.
The different sub-systems, each installed inside a specific room of the laboratory, are integrated and controlled from a common control room that enables both the simultaneous management of them (test of the complete drive system) and independently (control and test of the individual sub-system).
The Test Laboratory can be used for the research, development and acceptance test of the sub-systems of hybrid vehicles:
- management of the battery pack
- development of the control systems of the power flow
- studies on the application of super-capacitors
- design and development of complete hybrid traction systems
The different sections, each installed in a specific area of the laboratory, are integrated and managed centrally from a control room, which allows the exercise of both contemporary (characterization of the complete drive system) and independent (characterization of the single subsystem.
