Simple slip-on claw couplings
These simple claw couplings are made of high-quality plastic.They are maintenance-free and wear-resistant, electrically insulating and insensitive to water, dust, oils ets. Their small dimensions result in low weight and a low moment of inertia. The torque is transmitted via a large number of meshing, slightly tapered follower cams enabling easy adjustment or readjust-ment.
Gear-type couplings are shaft connections to compensate for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments. In the case of relative movements within the admissible tolerance range, compression across the edges can be avoided owing to the crowned form of the teeth. The couplings therefore operate nearly wear-free. The material combination steel/polyamide permits maintenance-free continuous operation with very favourable friction values.
