Ambient air is not always sufficient for medical applications. It can contain high levels of contaminants and uncontrolled levels of moisture. Atlas Copco’s MED/dMED systems convert compressed air into high-purity certified air for a range of medical applications. The MED/dMED is designed to perform in worst case but real life scenarios and always provide the quality required. The dMED (dual MED) is a duplexed purification package for converting a compressed air source into breathing quality air. The dMED package is independently certified to provide medicinal air in compliance with the European Pharmacopoeia.
