Atmel's new generation of airbag power supply devices that meet the power requirements of dual-voltage microcontrollers in modern ECUs. Based on Atmel's 0.8 micron BCDMOS technology, the device contains all the necessary blocks to supply the microcontroller, the firing capacitors and peripheral components of the airbag system. The device features one programmable and adjustable boost converter, two programmable buck converters and one programmable linear regulator.
