Projecting of wiring harnesses for vehicle cabling
KABI is a CAD/CAE product offering comprehensive support for the design of wiring harnesses for vehicle wiring. Design is an integrated solution using KABI, from creating the electric circuits through the schematic professional wiring harness diagram to the production documentation (bill of materials, wire lists, cutting lists, formboard diagram, etc.).
With the aid of the interfaces to 3D-engineering CAD systems, PPS systems and cable production and industrial testing machines, processes can be modeled completely for both the car manufacturer/engineering department and the supplier/cable assembler. However, there is also the option of utilizing only part of the KABI functionalities – e.g. purely production-oriented design without a circuit diagram.
