This Active Optical Cable is a high performance integrated cable for short-range, multi-lane data communication and interconnect applications. It integrates four data lanes in each direction with a 20 Gbps aggregate bandwidth. Each lane can operate at 5 Gbps with lengths ranging from 1 to 100 meters. The Active Optical Cable is designed to operate over multimode fiber systems using a nominal wavelength of 850 nm. The electrical interface utilizes both a 25-contact edge connector to mate with a CX4 interface and a 38-contact edge-type connector to mate with a QSFP+ interface.
