Components Tests

The main aim of component testing is to test the various engine parts such as water pump, oil pump, cooling and lubricating circuits as regards their durability. In addition the functionality of system components such as the valve gear or high-pressure injection system can be examined.
Demands on the Test Bed

The following development tasks are carried out on the test rig:
Standard tasks such as:
- Measuring temperature and pressures
- Measuring vibration paths and adjustment travel
- Measuring mechanical stresses
- Strain measurements
