The barrier cabinet is categorised as an ATEX flameproof EX d enclosure certified to ATEX Group 2 Category3, and can be utilised as automatic traffic barriers for traffic and security control. The barrier is able to operate in hazardous environments or potentially explosive atmospheres: the working components are housed in a flameproof enclosure designed to withstand the pressure developed during an internal explosion and prevent the transmission of the explosion to the explosive gas atomosphere surrounding the enclosure. ATEX security barrier The barrier cabinet stands at 1135mm above foundation level with the boom 840mm above foundation level. The boom supplied is available in different lengths up to 6m (end steady support required for booms over 5m) and finished in red/white fiscal as standard (option:yellow/black) as standard, however other options are available.
