BF100R is an active IR barrier; it offers an efficient and economic solution
for detecting smoke on big surfaces The system BF100R is made of an
emitter/receiver and a reflecting panel placed at a certain distance. The
standard range of BF100R is 70 meters and can be increased to 100 meters by use of additional reflecting panel (BFS). New "reflection" technology
grants detection efficiency as well as simple installation.
The alignement is easy thanks to the optical view-finder allowing a correct
positioning of reflecting panel and to the Led-display module visualizing
the signal level. Thanks to continuous elaboration, BF100R is capable to
detect and determine the quantity of smoke presence in a room. The barrier can vary its sensitivity on 4 differents channels, which can be chosen to
optimise detection according to installation. BF100R makes a signal selfcalibration every 24 hours in order to compensate temperature variations
and maintain efficiency of the system. It can recognize a signal anomaly
thus generating a separate signalling for anything wrong.
BF TEST optional kit is necessary for completing and testing the installation. The system is completed by BR100 optional module allowing remote
signalling as well as remote working test and alarm reset (up to 4 BF100R
barriers for each BR100 module).
BF100R is in conformity to EN54 norms.
BF100R too is subject to a computerized test of all components in order to grant usual reliability of AVS Electronics
products.
