The AWAS ADF Flotation systems are specially planned and configured for different types of waste- and process water. Depending on the technical requirements the systems are designed in full or partial stream. In full stream, the feed water is saturated up to 100% with air or another gas in the saturator. In the partial stream system treated effluent from the clean water outlet, is completely saturated and injected into the inlet feed stream. The saturation causes molecular changes in the water, which result in a structural change of the emulsion. In some applications this induces a separation of contaminants and the wastewater.
Depending on the capacity of the flotation unit as well as the technical specification of the customer, the flotator boxes can be produced from high density polyethylene (HDPE), steel or concrete. Usual facilities for flotation plants with a capacity of up to 90 m³ / h are made of polyethylene and installed in a technical area.
For flotation systems with a capacity of more than 90 m / h up to 500 m³ / h, the flotator facilities are are made of concrete on the construction site of sewage treatment plants and installed in an open location.
The model range includes 18 models with different capacities: from 1 to 500 m³ / h.
