Axon Cable

High temperature electrical wire
- 65 - 260 °C, 250 - 100 V AC Axon Cable

PTFE insulated bare copper wires
AXON' has developed a manufacturing process which allows for the insulation of bare copper wires with PTFE without oxidizing them. They are an ideal solution for applications over 200°C. The process allows for extruded PTFE on a conductive copper core without damaging the surface of the conductor. It avoids oxidation and helps preserve the qualities of copper for a good connection.

PTFE advantages
-Self extinguishing, does not melt, resistant to soldering iron at 350°C.
- Excellent resistance to most toxic and corrosive chemical attacks.
-Abrasion resistant and very low coefficient of friction.
-Excellent resistance to humidity and ultraviolet.
-Very thin insulation thickness compared to silicone wires.

Construction
-Conductor: annealed copper.
-Insulation: extruded PTFE.
-Temperature rating: -65/+260°C.
-Operating voltage: 250 to 1000 V AC.
-According to NEMA standard, HP3 publication (product performances and dimensions).

Applications
-Electrical appliances (oven, cooker, boiler burner, piezo electric system).
-Automotive (engine sensors, ignition circuit).
-Any other applications in aggressive environments (chemical atmospheres, very high or cold temperatures).
