Hollow-shaft resolver

General Dynamics manufactures exceptionally reliable single-speed, multi-speed and segmented resolvers. These absolute positioning sensors provide a high degree of angular accuracy and extremely high resolution. Our resolvers are compact, lightweight and easily installed. Specifically designed to withstand high-impact (shock) and environments containing dirt, grease, oil or other contaminants, our resolvers and synchros are available in a variety of configurations including housed, unhoused and space-rated. Our segmented resolver offers significant cost, space and weight savings over full rotation resolvers in applications that require only a limited angle measurement.
