It is designed for top performance in a variety of severe environments, including track and wheeled vehicles, fixed wing jets, propeller, helicopter, and all naval applications. The 8815 is lightweight, and built to comply with the most stringent military requirements, including RTCA DO-160D and MIL-STD-810G. This unit is completely sealed. It is equipped with configurable front controls and push buttons, and ruggedized to military requirements. Options include, versions without resistive touch screen, an LCDM heater, NVIS compliant and dual mode. The Aydin Defense product line comes in a variety of sizes ranging from 10” to 65”.
