BaerCoil® BaerFix®

BaerCoil® and BaerFix® Thread Repair Kits are perfect for thread repair of damaged or worn-out threads. They are the quickest and simplest methods to repair stripped or damaged thread and return the thread to the original size. The holding power is superior and the methods of repair are most cost-effective. Threads with BaerCoil® or BaerFix® inserts are generally stronger than original internal threads.

BaerCoil® thread repair kits contain some BaerCoil® wire thread inserts in different lenghts (stainless steel AISI 304), one HSS Drill, one HSSG Tap and one inserting tool. It's very easy to use. 1. Drilling: Clear the damaged thread with a standard drill. 2. Tapping: Use the special tap for cutting the holding thread into the hole. 3. Install the insert: Use the inserting tool for screwing the insert into the thread.
Available in all metric and inch sizes, including UNC, UNF, BSC, BSW, BSP, BSF, BA, NPT and METRIC. BaerCoil® products are compatible with wire thread inserts and tools from other manufacturers.

BaerFix® thread repair kits contain some self-tapping BaerFix® threaded inserts with cutting slots (case-hardened steel, zink-plated, yellow-chromated), one HSS drill, (optionally one countersink) and one inserting tool. Instructions for use: 1. Drilling: Clear the damaged thread with a standard drill. Optionally you can countersink the borehole. 2. Install the insert: Use the inserting tool for screwing the insert into the thread. The inserts tap their own threads as they are driven (turned) into drilled holes.
