Cartridge dust collector: pulse jet

The "PS" series of dust collectors clean the dust-laden air exhausted from the shot blasting installation.
It is a dust collector using "cartridges", which are blown off by compressed air at regular intervals, so as to detach the dust which deposits on the cartridge outer surface.
The compressed air is stored in a tank and it is conveyed to the filtering cartridges by a cycle timer controlled by an electrovalve. The air suitably directed to the cartridges, creates a pressure wave inside, washing and
resetting their former permeability capacity.
The cartridges are blown off one after the other for some split seconds each. The interval between the blow-off cycles can be set according to the installation operating
conditions.
