COMPRESSED AIR BLASTING ROOM SERIES The manual compressed air blasting rooms are specially engineered for blasting a wide range of pieces with large dimensions and various typologies, realised with modular panels and profiles. The blasting operation can start by moving the control lever placed on the hose. The mixing abrasive-slag-waste, fallen on the floor is manually or automatically recovered and conveyed to the base of the elevator to be transported up to the separator. The abrasive is then separated from oversize contaminants, worn-out abrasive and dust. The clean abrasive is finally returned to the storage silo to be reused. The dust-saturated air remaining in the blasting room is exhausted by a dust collector-exhauster via ventilation ducts and piping. The input of clean air into the blasting room is performed by a set of air intakes placed on the roof, with a stream from top to bottom, so that the operator can work safely and at the best visibility. The filtering elements are periodically cleaned by jets of compressed air and the cleaning is performed during different times for the different elements and for some split seconds only.
