Emergency stop devices provide workers a means of stopping a device during an emergency by pushing a button or pulling a rope.

Mechanical E-Stop Buttons
- Mechanical palm buttons push to stop and twist to release.
- Modular design makes assembly and installation easy.
- Metal or plastic buttons are available.
- Normally closed (NC) positively driven or normally open (NO) auxiliary contact elements are available.
- Kits simplify selection and ordering.
- Latching design complies with ISO 13850 (EN 418).

PICO-GUARD Fiber Optic System--Optical E-Stop Buttons
Push-to-stop, twist-to-release buttons provide complementary protective measures to safeguarding of a hazard.

- Offers models with fiber connections on same side or opposite sides for use with PICO-GUARD controllers in personnel safety and equipment protection applications
- Designed for use in potentially explosive environments and in environments with high levels of EMI or RF noise
- Features easy connection for 2 mm OD (1 mm core) plastic fibers, sold separately
- Accommodates up to 3 E-stops in series on a single channel
- Can be used with SFI interlocking switches in same optical loop
- Complies with ANSI NFPA 79 and IEC 60204-1 emergency stop push button requirements
- Meets Safety Category 4 applications (per ISO13849-1), when used with PICO-GUARD controllers.
