Standard Loadpin 300kN for application in Agriculture
Today's agricultural machinery are financial goods for the end user, which means a competitive advantage but also pose a certain risk. Failures of the machines, especially in the harvesting period can cause significant loss of revenue and costs.
There is a trend toward trailer construction visible in the last years. The upper body of the trailers grow higher and higher. The reason of this trend are stronger tractors and the legal restrictions of the trailer length and width. For larger payloads on the trailers was the only possibility to go up. This higher constructions are more vulnerable to turnover.
For anti-tilt protection of the trailer load pins are used. The loadpins are integrated in the suspension or the king pin. The loads applied on each loadpin are passed to the control. With this information, the moment distribution of the trailer is calculated. If nesessary the controll sends out a warning.
The following points can be monitored:
1. tilting of the trailer
2. overload the trailer
The controller can respond in two stages:
1. issuing an alarm signal at danger of tipping
2. warning of overload
