Description

Three-phase current synchronous gear motors

Dynamism and high torque characterize the DSD-IG gear motor from Baumüller. With transmission ratios of i=4 and i=8, the DSD-IPG is a compact, dynamic motor for high torque requirements.

Available in installation sizes 45 and 56, DSD-IPG gear motors are ideally suited to applications with the highest requirements for torque and dynamic response. The overload capacity of the DSD is up to 40% higher than that of comparable servo motors in the DS range. The sum of these properties thus perfectly meets the requirements of applications such as material handling, robotics and packaging. Despite the transmission ratios of i=4 and i=8, the gear motor retains its dynamic characteristics. The DSD-IPG is very compact and, for example, allows several axes to be placed side-by-side, thereby saving space. Depending on the application, SinCos encoders or brakes can be combined with the gear motor.
