The 157M range of differential pressure transducers incorporates a BCM capacitive sensor die manufactured in silicon. The transducer is engineered to provide excellent accuracy rates of 0.25% and is perfectly qualified for use in a wide array of applications. It can be installed easily, and can efficiently handle pressure ranges of 0-60mbar and 0-5000mbar, with static pressure of 100bar.
The housing of the die is tough and structured in 316 SS. It is designed to provide solidity and dependability in operations. The transducer is equipped with two diaphragms, fabricated from 316L stainless steel. The die housing is filled with oil that aids in the transfer of metered pressure values from the diaphragms to the sensor.
The diaphragms are large in size with generous diameters. The large diaphragms impart a high degree of versatility to the transducer, enabling it to measure pressures of liquids that have suspended particulate matter as well as extremely viscous and corrosive liquids. Monel or Hastelloy-C diaphragms can be integrated into the transducers to ensure reliable measurement of pressure in liquids with even stronger corrosive properties.
