Mecorinse 500 is a post-treatment chemistry for plated parts in acid tin and acid tin-alloy processes. The product will neutralize the acidic film and remove residues of additives and plating electrolytes, which are left on the components after plating. Mecorinse 500 improves the solderability. Mecorinse 500 is a non-toxic, phosphate and halogen free, fully biodegradable, aqueous based solution. This weel-based process is especially designed for continuous cut-strip and reel-to-reel applications. Mecorinse 500 does not give any discoloration on the products even during production stops. The product does not leave any stains or residues on the products even after a high load of plating solution. Due to its moderate alkaline pH, the Mecorinse 500 solution does not attack encapsulation material, marking inks and/or aluminium parts.
