Construction
Diagonal layers of cotton duck and rubber, coated with graphite grease. Very good cross-expansion requiring only low gland pressure.
Size Range: Square section 5mm, 6.5, 8mm, 9.5mm in 2 x 3 metre coils. 11mm to 25mm in 1 x 3 metre coils.
Also available as split rings.
Temperature: 1200°C
Pressure: 7 Mpa (70 bar)
Speed: 1m/s
pH: 5 - 11
Services: Hot and cold water, low pressure steam, ammonia and brine.
Applications:
Reciprocating and static. Reciprocating compressors, Piston cooling elbow glands. Drying cylinder expansion glands. Refrigeration machinery.
