The RFM340-M digital refractometer with Peltier temperature control is particularly suited for use in harsh factory environments where wet conditions are present. Having a range of 0-100 Brix (1.32-1.58 RI) and a resolution to three decimal places Brix, RFM340-M performs well in the soft drinks packing halls of beverage companies due to its very high accuracy up to 0.01 Brix. Featuring a 4" (10 cm) colour display and tactile keypad, additional features for the RFM300-M models RFID user clearance and audit trails with electronic signatures that facilitate use in controlled environments such as those operating in accordance with FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11. Importantly, the RFM340-M refractometer also boasts a 6 decimal places RI (Refractive Index) that takes it to the next level when controlling critical blend ratios of chemical compounds, edible oils, carbonated soft drinks and fruit juices.
