Combination belts allow the engineer to design a belt for a specific task. Features such as perforations, attachments, and coatings can be added to a plain belt to create the characteristics required for any particular application. Attachments or pockets can be utilized to locate components, while a vacuum drawn through the perforation is employed to secure the component in place on the belt.
