Asphalt plant

BENNINGHOVEN GmbH & Co. KG
The plant
Extensive research and development has resulted in a continuous asphalt mixing plant which offers high production rates of top quality asphalt mixes. These new style plants are avai-lable in mobile, transportable and stationary configurations.
Material production process
Aggregates are supplied from the cold feed bins using variable speed belt feeders to accurately proportion the material to the rotary dryer where they are heated and dried by the RAX-Jet Turbo Burner.
The hot aggregates are discharged into the feed end of the special elongated twin shaft paddle mixer together with the correctly calculated amounts of bitumen, filler, and if required, additives.
The components are then mixing the full length of the mixer creating a homogenous mixture when.discharged.
The result is a continuous flow of high quality asphalt mix.
In the standard version the finished product is stored in a holding hopper under the mixer for direct lorry loading. Optionally the mixing section can be low level with product trans-ported to mixed material storage silo(s). Full production of the plant is constantly monitored and controlled by the latest "Online.Batcher" computer control system.
