The major characteristic of the MSBV line of drill heads is the continuous adjustment of the spindles. Thus, a single drill head can be used for a number of different drill patterns. Each type of drill head enjoys generous limits of adjustment set by minimum and maximum spindle intervals. The materials used (high-strength aluminum alloy for the spindle housings, drawn steel which is quenched and nitrate-hardened for the gears, hardened and ground steel for the spindles) together with the honed to size spindle bearings from the MSBZ-ER line of drill heads set new standards of performance and quality in the field of adjustable multi spindle drill heads.
