Aluminum enclosure - CA series
The aluminum enclosure Type CA from Bernstein is corrosion resistant, impact resistant and has a high mechanical strength due to which it is ideal for the encapsulation of electrical, electronic, pneumatic components and applications that are used in potentially explosive environments.
The CA enclosures feature copper-plated earthing screws for connecting PE conductors on body and cover, and are finished in RAL 7001 in a silver/gray shade. Earthing sockets and mounting flanges can be utilized for mounting as well as for securing the built-in components. These come with factory-assembled seals that confer class IP 65 (optionally IP 67) protection according to DIN EN 60529.
