Bestobell three-piece ball valves are designed specifically for cryogenic applications. The valves have many features which make it well suited to this task including:
* Spring loaded gland seal giving low torque levels under both ambient and cryogenic conditions
* One piece design, anti-blowout stem
* Relief hole to prevent trapping of liquefied gases
* Designed to prevent incorrect re-assembly after maintenance
* Removable centre assemble to allow inter-changeability in existing installations
* Suitable for retrofitting of electric or pneumatic actuators.
Extended spindle valves are available for liquid service, along with standard spindle lengths for use on ambient gas requirements. All materials used are selected for their suitability to function at cryogenic temperatures. All valves are degreased for oxygen duty.
