The Beswick PRD4HP is the smallest and lightest three-stage regulator in the world. It is ideal for accurately reducing high pressures, up to 3,000 psi (206.8 bar), down to a much lower pressure in the 0 to 40 psi (0 to 2.76) bar range. It is commonly used in applications where the gas is supplied from a high pressure gas cylinder and the initial pressure in the cylinder will decay over time as the gas is consumed. The large valve to sensing area ratio and low friction design of Beswick’s diaphragm style regulators make them especially well-suited for low pressure regulation, such as 0.5 psi (0.034) bar. The three-stage design maintains a consistent outlet pressure despite wide swings in the inlet/source pressure. The first stage utilizes a PEEK valve seat for improved high temperature performance. The regulator is available in brass and 316 stainless steel. This non-relieving regulator is ported with a ¼-28 internal threaded inlet port and a 10-32 internal threaded outlet port.
