A new range of high speed milling machines has been presented by BieMmePi in 1996. These machines, named META, have a fixed gantry structure and is available in two different sizes (X=850mm Y=600mm Z=400 mm or X=850mm Y=1200mm Z=400 mm for the PLUS version) are equipped with tool magazine and automatic tool changer. The electrospindle power and the compact, stiff construction allow the machining of general mechanics components, molds and other different applications.
