4 axis articulated palletizing robot STACKING AND PALLETIZATION

The cell is composed of a KUKA robot Mod. KR180PA, a 4-axes industrial robot with articulated kinematics, for all point-to-point and continuous-path controlled tasks, particularly used for high speed palletizing and depalletizing operations. The robot is equipped with pick up frame with pincers to stack the packages in layers, roller conveyor where the package is correctly positioned before the pick up operation, motorized floor rollerways where the packages are stacked and the Europallets are stored (see cell layout). The use of the robot also allows pallet stacking on floor rollerways and the insertion of cardboard sheets in between layers. The aim of the cell is to reach high productivity even with heavy work loads, and maximum flexibility in palletizing operations. Its competitive price, the added value supplied and the short amortization period needed make it the ideal solution for the complete and flexible automation of the final segment of packaging lines.
