Unit made up of a boring and dowel inserting machine mod. Insider, customised for insertion of “Tandembox” and “Metabox” guides, and 6-axis humanoid Kuka robot mod. KR60/2. The aim of the unit is to achieve high levels of productivity, thanks to the performance of the Kuka robot, and maximum autonomy, thanks to direct, all-round management of incoming and outgoing pallets. Proper pick-up of the guides from the “Ecopack” container is achieved by means of a viewing system made up of No. 2 telecameras fitted on the robot pick-up device and an application software to locate the position, check the presence of the object and manage the codes data base and the product parameters.
