BigHeads were originally designed for the plastics moulding
industry. Their unique perforated design allows plastics,
composites or adhesives to flow through their mild steel or
316S11 stainless steel heads during the moulding process. This
locks them into virtually any plastic product and efficiently
spreads the applied dynamic loads over the widest possible
area. BigHeads can also be surface-mounted on to metal,
wood, glass, brick, composites or laminates – using modern
adhesives or rivets, screws or spotwelds. No expensive
drilling, filling or “making good” is needed, and labour
costs are reduced to a minimum. And now, with the introduction
of BIGBOND, our own range of specially-formulated bonding
adhesives, the BigHead “toolbox” is complete.
