The water batching computer BT-6000 uses the technology of high-frequency engineering to measure the exact moisture of the concrete in the mixer. The microwave probe produces an electric field which is being influenced by the water molecules present in the concrete. The obtained measured data are read by the BT-6000 200 times per second to calculate and dose the additional water in order to obtain the right quality of concrete.
If raw materials suffer big temperature variation due to the outside temperature or the raw materials delivery, the behaviour of the dry mixture also changes.
Therefore, a temperature measurement in the mixer is absolutely necessary. That is why each BT-6000 is equipped with a temperature measurement. The effect of strong temperature variations on the mixing components is recognized and compensated with the help of a recorded temperature curve. Therefore the quality of the concrete is always the same, also with high temperatures.
