Active infrared presence detector BIRCHER REGLOMAT AIR 20
The AIR 20 is an active infrared detector which operates accoring to the principle of triangulation. The intersection of the optical axes defines the maximum scanning range. Whenever the transmitted infrared signal is reflected by an object within this scanning range, the output switches. This means the receiver is able to detect whether the infrared light emitted by the transmitter is being reflected by a person/object within the scanning area or outside it (background).
