Silicone pressure hose

pressure hoses
Silicone pressure hoses braided or with fibre inserts are characterised by maintaining the same physical properties over a wide range of temperatures. Without losing their rubber elasticity, they can cope well with temperatures as low as -50 °C and also with short-term heat- shocks as high as +300 °C to +400 °C,even if the change-over is very fast. Reinforcement with polyester monofilaments and glass fibre or aramide yarns ensures resistance to pressure. While polyester braid constructions achieve a high level of stabilisation for the hoses, the highest temperature threshold has to be assumed at around +130 °C. When glass or aramide support fibres are used, permanent exposure to temperatures of above +200 °C is possible, whereby it has to be mentioned, that mechanically the relatively expensive aramide fibres are far more durable.
