Description

This type of filter can be used for all machining processes wherever small chips and fine particles have to be filtered out of liquids, even high-viscosity liquids. As well as machining centres, this type of filter has also proven highly successful in grinding machines, honing machines and in washing water treatment. As well as being used as an individual system, this filter can also be used for the central supply of several machines. Functional characteristics: Two disc wheels form the counterbearing for the circulating support belt. The non-woven filter is drawn between them by a motor, with the filter forming an arch-shaped filtration bed which is sealed at both sides. The cooling lubricant is calmed and fed to the filter by a flat distributor. The liquid entering the filtration chamber flows towards the non-woven filter transport, ensuring that the filter is kept clean in the in-flow area to ensure maximum permeability. In the calmed liquid zone, filtered particles are deposited and form a sludge cake which acts increasingly as a filtration aid, restraining even the smallest particles. After complete saturation of the non-woven filter, the liquid level rises in the filtration bed. As soon as the maximum liquid level is reached, the float switch triggers the gear motor. A new non-woven filter is automatically drawn in and the filter clogged with sludge is discharged on the opposite side.
