The correct concentration of cutting fluids is a
critical requirement for optimum performance.
This easily operated tester is therefore a valuable
aid in preventing possible problems within the
production process.
One or two drops ot the fluid to be tested are placed
on the surface of the prism and covered with the
plastic cover. The concentration can be read
immediately with the built-in eyepiece.
The reading is made by means of the border
between light and dark zones on the scale. The
range of the instrument is 0-30%
The instrument requires practically no maintenance.
However, the prism must be cleaned after every
use. Periodically check calibration with plain water.
