Includes a load cell that senses case weight variations due to over or under filled cases.
How the "Case weigher" works
The full case enters the case scale, and is lifted from the in-feed conveyor to minimize erroneous errors to the load cell. When an over/under case is detected (cases are statically weighed to a preset tolerance, minimum is +/- 50 grams), the case scale simply rejects the case 90 degrees onto a reject conveyor. As the reject is integrated into the same floor space as the load platform, you will not find a smaller case scale with reject. Perfect for tight layouts!
