Description
Zinc Aluminum Mini Two Bolt Flange Mounted Unit Bearings with Eccentric Locking Collar (UFL) have zinc aluminum housings and chrome steel inserts. Bearings that are mounted within a flanged housing are used when the bearing mounting surface is perpendicular to a shaft axis. The housing is bolted to a foundation through the holes in the base. The locking collar has a recess made eccentric to the bore. When assembled on the shaft, this eccentric recess engages with an eccentric cam end of a bearing's inner ring. The collar is engaged on the inner cam of the bearing. This assembly grips the shaft tightly. The collar set screw provides additional locking.
