This rubber hardness gauge is mainly used for measuring the hardness of rubbers, elastomers, plastics, and other related materials. The measurement is focused on the penetration of a point resting on the specimen when pressed in a standard manner and at a standard force. The unit comes with hardened and ground steel point with accordance to ASTM and DIN standards. It is also supplied with sheath, large threaded connector for adaptation to the support and a circular base for an effective contact with the test specimen. In addition, this device is available in two versions. The version A is for softer materials and D for harder materials.
