Portable RUG 1000 digital roughness tester. Easy to use and suitable for both the workshop and metrology room. Compact and in strong, shockproof casing. The standard probe is suitable for use on flat surfaces and internal/external diameters. A range of special probes is available on request for difficult circumstances. The probe works on the principle of differential induction using a cone-shaped diamond with radius of 3 μm. Large alphanumeric display and soft keyboard. Function for centring the diamond on the material to be tested. Information is given on correct use, low-energy battery and off-scale.
Automatic switch-off after approximately 2 minutes with data storage. Mm/inch conversion. Parameter selection and traverse cut-off. RS232 output to 40 column printer for hard copy of data and preselected parameters.
