Permanent magnet DC motor speed controller
BODINE ELECTRIC COMPANY
Bodine Electric presents filtered SCR DC basic speed control. It runs off a 115 volt, 50/60 Hz AC line. It has filtered DC output, which ensures cooler running of motor, increased brush life, reduced hearable sound, and a broader speed range. It includes dip switches that ensure simple calibration of control for varying motor sizes. Speed drift is minimized by line voltage and temperature compensation.
The device has housing with NEMA 12 environmental protection rating. The PC board has trim pots for adjusting limits of torque, minimum speed and maximum speed, acceleration time, and speed control. The speed pot fixed on the enclosure allows manual adjustment of speed. It has a terminal block within the enclosure for faster line and motor connection. Back EMF feedback ensures that speed regulation is maintained at more than 2%.
Filtered SCR DC speed and direction control runs off a 115 Volt AC line. It has Filtered DC output. This provides cooler motor functioning, higher brush life, reduced hearable noise, and broader speed range.
