The Doboy 825 Carton Closer and carton sealing machine will seal a "single front flap" carton shut with hot melt adhesive. The customer's processing line delivers properly filled cartons onto the Doboy 825 infeed with the cover and front flap vertical. The leading carton is retimed into the case closer. The carton is advanced, and the leading dust flap of the box is plowed back while the trailing dust flap is tucked forward. Hot melt adhesive is applied to the top carton flap which is guided down and permanently sealed against the carton. The closed corrugated carton is discharged ready for palletizing.
