Silencer for low-speed gas flows

The silencers of the series L " consist of an outer jacket of steel very
thick. Inside one placed a reactive section (diffuser multi-stage) and
a dissipative section. The reactive section is made out of stainless steel AISI 304.
The dissipative section, formed by stainless steel diaphragms drilled AISI 304,
has an airfoil to reduce the pressure losses to the minimum.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The sound energy which is propagated along the conduits is convoyed in
section reactivates and thereafter crosses the dissipative section before
to discharge in the atmosphere
The reactive section, consistent of special diffusers at multiple stage, allows
with gas of rependre by forming a myriad of micro jets and while reducing
dramatically initial speed. _
Thereafter the gas, at low speed crosses the dissipative section.
