Unlike other manufacturers, Brandel uses a variable frequency sine wave drive to reduce pulsations inherent in other syringe pumps using pulsed stepping motor drives.
Variable selection of flow rate is provided by a ten-turn potentiometer and counting dial with 1,000 divisions. You can choose among five fixed rates of 0.375, 0.75, 3.0 and 6.0 ml/min.
The Syringe Pump can be used in any of three operating modes:
1) manually, as a stand alone unit,
2) start-stop remote, by TTL level signal, or
3) by remote; remote clock pulses for speed (delivery rate) and TTL level signals for direction, start and stop control.
