Description

The 4381 from Bruel and Kjaer is a piezoelectric, DeltaShear®, Unigain® accelerometer with side connector. Its compact housing is made of titanium and features high sensitivity with a general purpose, and a low-level, low-frequency measurement. Its sensitivity is measured in charge per unit acceleration (pC/g) in the calibration chart at 159.2 Hz and an acceleration of 10 g. It has three piezoelectric elements and three masses classified into a triangular configuration around a triangular center post with a ring that gives piezoelectric elements a high degree of linearity and the accuracy of the factory calibration is ± 2%. Z 23 lead zirconate titanate element is the piezoelectric element used. The charge is gathered between the housing and the clamping ring.
