The 8210 Modal Sledge Hammer is an advanced tool used to measure impact forces on medium to very large structures. This is also used as part of a dynamic structural testing system for modal analysis and prediction of structural response. It comes with an easily transportable carrying case and each hammer has a built-in sensor to measure voltage per unit force (mV/N or mV/lbf). It features four impact tips to control frequency response and impulse. These impact tips are used depending on the type of structure: from machinery to storage tanks to very large structures such as bridges and ships.
